PT Peka Cipta Kembali is a company engaged in processing plastic waste into recycled plastic pellets, playing an important role in supporting the circular economy and reducing environmental pollution. However, the company faces challenges related to raw material inventory imbalance, where stockouts occur in certain types such as Aqua and BL Hijau, while at the same time overstock is found in other types such as BL Merah. This condition potentially disrupts production continuity, causes warehouse congestion, and reduces the effectiveness of the inventory system. This study aims to analyze inventory control strategies by combining demand forecasting methods with the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) approach. The data used consist of historical sales records for one year, focusing on six main raw material types, namely Aqua, BL Biru, BL Hijau, BL Merah, BL BN, and BL PK. The exponential smoothing method was employed to estimate future raw material needs, while Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) was applied to determine the optimal order quantity to maintain inventory stability. The results show that integrating demand forecasting and EOQ helps minimize the risks of stockouts and overstocks, maintain a balanced inventory according to production requirements, and support the continuity of the company’s operations in a more controlled and sustainable manner.
