This study aims to analyze the feasibility of dairy cattle farming and to formulate development strategies in Guranteng Village, Pagerageung Subdistrict, Tasikmalaya Regency. The dairy farming business in this village is dominated by small-scale farmers employing semi-intensive management systems. The research employs a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative data collected through field surveys, structured interviews, direct observations, and SWOT analysis. Feasibility is evaluated using financial indicators such as Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP), and Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR). Results indicate that dairy farming in Guranteng Village is financially feasible, with an NPV of IDR 8,750,000, IRR of 17%, PP of 2.6 years, and BCR of 1.52. The main challenges include low technology adoption, weak business management, and limited market access. Development strategies are formulated based on SWOT analysis, incorporating SO, ST, WO, and WT strategies. Proposed strategies focus on strengthening cooperative institutions, enhancing farmer capacity, product diversification, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders. With effective implementation, dairy farming in Guranteng Village has the potential to become a sustainable and competitive pillar of the local economy.
