Effective and ergonomic work movements are the key to increasing employee productivity and well-being in various companies. However, most SMEs in Timor-Leste do not realize the importance of ergonomics and are reluctant to adopt an ergonomic work environment. By using the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) methods which aim to evaluate and improve working conditions that are inefficient and have the potential to cause musculoskeletal injuries. Data regarding the number of occupational hazards that occurred in 2021 amounted to 93 workers, in 2022 there were 84 workers, and in 2023 there were 79 workers who experienced work disruptions due to musculoskeletal injuries. The resultsof the ergonomic analysis carried out by applying the RULA and REBA methods can be concluded that the worker's posture which has a certain risk score with individual workers is the working posture of standing or bending with the hands, and the neck and hands moving togetherwith a score of 3 for worker 1, for worker 2 got a score of 5, for worker 3 got a score of 5, and for worker 4 got a score of 6. From the results of this analysis it is necessary to prevent the possibility of work accidents in accordance with the hierarchy of occupational health and safetyrisk control.
