Abstract

Abstract: Physical factors in a good hospital environment can support the healing process and reduce stress in hospital patients. Healing environment shows that the environment can affect the patient's psychological and health. Features such as air condition, lighting, color,  natural elements, layout and sound can speed up the healing process by providing the patient with a psychological and physical boost. This study discusses the application of the concept of healing environment in the inpatient room at RSUD Jayapura. The analysis carried out by field observations and literature studies shows that the application of natural elements and indoor air variables in the Jayapura Hospital inpatient room is the main thing that is most prominent in increasing the comfort of inpatient facilities users.

Abstrak: Faktor fisik lingkungan rumah sakit yang baik dapat mendukung proses penyembuhan dan pengurangan stres pasien rumah sakit. Healing environment menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan bisa mempengaruhi psikologis dan kesehatan pasien. Fitur-fitur seperti; kondisi udara dalam ruangan, pencahayaan, warna ruangan, Elemen alam, tata ruangan, dan suara bisa mempercepat proses penyembuhan dengan memberi pasien  rasa nyaman secara psikologis dan fisik. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai penerapan konsep healing environment yang ada di ruang rawat inap RSUD Jayapura. Analisis yang dilakukan dengan observasi lapangan dan studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa penerapan variabel unsur alam dan udara dalam ruangan di ruang rawat inap RSUD Jayapura merupakan hal utama yang paling menonjol dalam meningkatkan kenyamanan pengguna fasilitas rawat inap.
